Parkland is a city in Broward County, Florida where zoning laws are designed to protect the "parklike" character of the city. Initially, there were no stores in Parkland, though this changed in the early 2000's.
As of 2006, the population estimated by the U.S. Census Bureau was 22,183.
It is part of the South Florida metropolitan area, which is home to 5,463,857 people.
Parkland offers the lowest crime rate, while tucked away in the most beautiful area that Broward has to offer. Along with friendly neighbors, you can see people on their horses on almost any given day having fun. Parkland also offers stables for those into riding. In addition,the city of Parkland recently built their own library.
